ARC International esta alertando a las organizaciones acerca de la discusión sobre un reporte borrador acerca de “valores tradicionales” durante la 8a sesión del Comité Asesor del Consejo de Derechos Humanos (20-24 Febrero 2012).

Se trata de un reporte borrador que sugiere sugiere que “todos los acuerdos de DDHH … deben basarse en, y no contradecir, los valores tradicionales de la humanidad. Si no es este el caso, no pueden ser considerados validos”.
Concerns: draft report on traditional values in the Human Rights Council Advisory Committee

ARC International calls for our attention discussion scheduled this Monday 20/03/12 by Human Rights Council Advisory Committee were a draft report on “traditional values” will be discussed.

Amongst other things, the report suggests that “all international human rights agreements … must be based on, and not contradict, the traditional values of humankind. If this is not the case, they cannot be considered valid”.

La Oficina del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Derechos Humanos (OHCHR siglas en inglés) en Ginebra, publicó el jueves pasado su primer informe sobre los derechos humanos de lesbianas, gays, bisexuales y transgénerxs (LGBT).

The UN Office for the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva issued its first ever report on the human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.
